In 2014, XAKT researched and developed personalized repair technology. For the first time, the 3D print head mold trial process was applied to the titanium mesh plate, which improved the degree of personalization of the titanium mesh plate skull repair. Dr. Hu, CTO of XAKT, told Hay Think that the current market share of titanium materials in the skull repair market segment exceeds 93%, and PEEK materials only account for 7%. The low market penetration rate is mainly limited by high production costs.
