Evonik intends to expand production capacity of ROHACELL functional foam

Evonik intends to expand the production capacity of functional foam in the Darmstadt plant in Germany. After the investment expansion, the plant can increase output by about 20%.

The company will also add new production equipment, and its products will be launched on the market under the ROHACELL brand. The expansion of production capacity is expected to begin market circulation next year.

At present, the Evonik Darmstadt plant produces ROHACELL foam products, which are the core materials of composite sandwich panels, which are widely used in aerospace, automotive construction, electronics and medical technology.
