Australian packaging giant Amcor has unveiled its Apex hot-filled PET container with metal lugs and a series of new highly transparent PET bottles for dairy products and sterile, high-pressure liquid beverages. This sleek and unique premium product range is available in round, hourglass and square specifications.
The packaging giant has partnered with Dutch company Confrérie Clinque to develop an innovative tablet dispensing system called S.M.R.T.Bottle. The innovative tablet dispensing solution is a container with the advantages of both blister and bottle packaging. Amco injection molded polyethylene inserts are custom designed to match the shape of the tablet. Confrérie Clinque has custom designed and manufactured an electronic system for the dispenser, which counts the number of tablets entering or discharging the bottle, tracks the temperature of the container, and ensures product integrity.
