The scientific research team of Donghua University and JSAS, after years of research, proposed and established the theoretical system of "reaction spinning", conquered the key technologies of fiber preparation such as polymer synthesis-spinning-post-processing, and independently developed complete sets of equipment and Its key technologies such as process matching have built the first thousand-ton production line of dry-spinning PI fiber in the world. The project related to "key technology and industrialization of dry-spinning polyimide fiber preparation" won the 2016 National Science and Technology Progress Second prize.
However, the inherent color of traditional polyimide fibers leads to a single color system, which greatly limits its application expansion in military and civilian markets.
At present, the preparation of polyimide fiber color yarn is difficult and inefficient, and there is no stable product supply in China.
Through the color construction of polyimide fibers, this project has developed low-cost, multi-variety, multi-color polyimide fibers and serialized products, which can meet the demand for high-performance fibers in the field of protection and expand high-end flame-retardant fabrics. Market, improving the protection level of special protective equipment is of great significance to promoting the development of China's high-performance fiber industry and highlighting its strategic dominant position.
