Among them, TC-4DT, TC-21, Ti45Nb and other three main grades of new titanium alloys have become the backbone of China's aviation structural parts and fasteners. The world's only superconducting full-process production enterprise

The company is currently the only enterprise in China that has achieved commercial production of superconducting wire rods, and is also the only company in the world in the production of niobium-titanium ingots, bars, superconducting wire rods and superconducting magnets.


There are no competitors in China, and the competitors are all from abroad, including German Bruker Company, British Luvata Company, Japan JASTEC and American ATI.

The company's superconducting products are mainly used in MRI (nuclear magnetic resonance imager), MCZ (magnetron Czochralski monocrystalline silicon technology), CFETR (thermonuclear fusion experimental reactor) and other fields.


MRI is currently the most important application field of superconducting materials. The company has developed engineering production technologies such as NbTi superconducting wire conductor structure design for MRI, high dimensional precision processing, high copper ratio wire inlay molding and other engineering production technologies. It has supplied GE and Siemens in batches, breaking the international monopoly and filling the gap in China.


The fine superconducting coil developed for the ITER project needs to pull out tens of thousands of filaments within a diameter of 0.8 mm, and the shortest length of such a fine superconducting coil is 1000 m.


In terms of MCZ, the MCZ technology that uses superconducting magnets to provide a stable magnetic field of 5000Gs is currently the most important method for producing large-sized semiconductor-grade monocrystalline silicon over 300mm in the world.


The company has successfully independently developed China's first high magnetic field strength superconducting magnet dedicated to magnetron Czochralski monocrystalline silicon. With the continuous improvement of the industrial chain of monocrystalline silicon preparation equipment and the gradual increase in domestic substitution, the output of monocrystalline silicon furnaces will increase rapidly, and the market for superconducting magnets for MCZ will be broad in the future.
