In order to give full play to the characteristics of high strength, high toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance of titanium, develop and extend high-value applications at the back end, and form a complete industrial chain integrating "resources-products-industry".
Recently, AGJT Iron and Steel Technology Corporation cooperated with BJ Iron and Steel Research Institute, Chongqing University, Northeastern University and other scientific research institutions to develop a new type of titanium alloy wear-resistant steel, forming a green low-cost preparation technology for titanium alloy wear-resistant steel. "Converter-Continuous Casting-Rolling" replaces the existing "Electric Furnace-Die Casting-Forging" preparation process, opening up a new path for the application of titanium resources.
The project team gradually broke through many key technical problems that plagued the production of high-titanium-steel continuous casting, and researched and developed the "converter-LF-RH-slab casting-rolling" preparation process of titanium-containing wear-resistant steel, creatively The individualized microstructure and precipitation control scheme of TiC particle-enhanced titanium alloyed wear-resistant steel was established.
At present, AGJT is the first in China to successfully realize the application of "converter-slab continuous casting-hot rolling" titanium alloyed wear-resistant steel casting technology, which fills the gap in China's "converter-slab casting" production of high titanium-steel technology. blank.
At the same time, in the production process of wear-resistant steel, the traditional "microalloying + heat treatment" process is not used, but TiC particles are used to enhance wear resistance and improve strength and toughness.
Compared with the "electric furnace-die casting" process, the titanium alloyed wear-resistant steel produced by AGJT with the "converter-continuous casting" process has the advantages of high production efficiency, high yield, low production cost and wide product application range.
Compared with traditional wear-resistant steel, titanium alloyed wear-resistant steel does not require heat treatment, has a simple production process, and has both wear resistance and toughness with broad application prospects.
