On June 24, the world's highest-strength cold-rolled dual-phase steel was successfully mass-produced in a Chinese company, marking another record for SHBG in the field of product development and manufacturing of 1.5GPa ultra-high-strength gigapaste steel, and a major breakthrough in the world's premiere.

The so-called GPa steel refers to automotive high-strength steel with a tensile strength of more than 1000 MPa. There are many products in this family, including DP steel series, MS steel series, CP/CH steel series, QP steel, electro-galvanized UHSS, aluminum-silicon hot forming materials, etc., with high strength, high elongation, good bending properties, high yield strength ratio , high hole expandability and so on.

The low-alloy, well-welded, ultra-high-strength gigabar steel was jointly developed by SHBG and customers. The target part is the new model beam, which requires good bending performance and low elongation on the basis of ultra-high strength and high elongation.

The development of this product fills the product gap of cold-formed automotive sheets in China at this strength level, and provides OEMs and component manufacturers with weldability and safety in bumpers, crash beams, seat beams, battery pack frames, etc. Provides new solutions for key components with high performance requirements;
