On June 15, 2022, China's leading lithium-ion battery separator supplier: SZXY Advanced Materials Technology Corporation issued an announcement that the company signed a "Sales Volume and Price Booking Agreement" with FREYR Battery Norway AS (hereinafter referred to as "Freyr"), stipulating that the company We will supply FREYR with separator materials for wet-process lithium-ion batteries, with an agreement value of approximately RMB 737 million.
It is understood that Freyr is a clean energy battery manufacturer based in Norway, which provides safe, high energy density and cost-competitive clean batteries for the fast-growing global markets of electric vehicles, energy storage and marine applications.
Lithium battery dry-process separators, wet-process separators and coated separator products produced by SZXY are mainly used in new energy vehicles, consumer electronics and energy storage power stations.
SZXY currently has six production bases in China and Europe. It is estimated that by 2025, the company is expected to form a base film production capacity of over 5 billion square meters and a coating production capacity of over 4 billion square meters.
