The world’s fourth manufacturer of medium-sized cardiovascular catheters Hay:P02SDBD

Heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, and malignant tumors are the three major diseases that threaten human health. In clinical practice, the treatment of these three types of diseases requires the establishment of a "medium cardiovascular pathway", which is to insert a length of several lengths into the veins of the human body. A ten-centimeter tube is used to allow patients to transport irritating drugs such as chemotherapy through this tube during subsequent treatments to reduce the patient’s stress response during drug delivery.

The medical technology for establishing a medium cardiovascular pathway was introduced to China from overseas in 2000. Until SDBD Medical Device Technology Corporation developed this medium cardiovascular pathway catheter, only three international medical companies in the world could produce such a medium cardiovascular pathway catheter.

In 2006, SDBD began to cooperate with the Tenth People's Hospital Affiliated to Tongji University and jointly established the Institute of Interventional Vascular Research to develop middle-level cardiovascular catheters.

In 2011, SDBD obtained a license for the cardiovascular access catheter developed by SDBD and launched it on the market. This small catheter also contains many hard-core technologies, the key is to be able to navigate.

This technology won the China National Science and Technology Progress Award.

Insert a 30-centimeter-long catheter into the vein until it reaches the vicinity of the heart. Before the doctors judged whether the catheter reached the designated position, it was estimated by intuition, and then confirmed and guided by X-ray.

Complications have been reduced to only 3%. Now, not only have more than 3,000 hospitals in China used their digital vascular access technology, but international medical companies are also learning their technology. In fifteen years, SDBD finally completed the transformation of this brand new vascular access technology to the market.
