On July 4, SDHH Semiconductor Technology Group, a leading IGBT manufacturer in China, announced the mass production of 12-inch automotive-grade IGBTs (insulated gate bipolar transistors), with an output of over 10,000 wafers.
This move not only marks the birth of China's first (fourth in the world) 12-inch IGBT production line, but will also bring about a significant drop in manufacturing costs and major changes in production models.
