In response to the Chinese government's policy of vigorously developing green transportation, Covestro has launched a new easy-to-spray water-based polyurethane coating technology logo and promoted advanced water-based polyurethane coating technology to domestic users of buses and rail transit companies to jointly promote the development of green transportation .
Covestro's easy-to-spray water-based polyurethane coating technology, using Bayhydrol® as a key raw material, can provide users with a significant advantage in efficient coating. The latest water-based two-component polyurethane coating solution is easy to spray and can be applied to the construction environment of 20-80% humidity at 10-35C. The spray appearance is excellent, the thickness of the non-foam film is high (under natural drying conditions, the thickness of the dry film is ≥120 μm in one spray), and the spraying process is similar to the solvent system.
In China, Covestro's two-component waterborne polyurethane coating solutions have been used in 38,000 large vehicles, such as buses, vans, subways, and trucks, since 2008.
